It is said that during the Three Kingdoms period, the sky lanterns were used by the army to transmit signals. It was gradually evolved into an instrument for making wishes. Nowadays, the tradition of sending out lantern is still reserved in some places.

The Jockey Club Perinatal Bereavement Care Project provides an online memorial space for parents and friends to express their remembrance of the deceased child and support for the bereaved parents.

In this memorial space, you can leave a message for the child, or simply fill in his/her name and choose a sky lantern with colour you like. Once we have received and verified the above, we will light up a sky lantern in the night sky just for you.
